moss nyc

I m in NY for couple of days, so wanted to recover what's going on around since my last visit. I think a store like Moss would surely failed if it wasn't located in NY: very arrogant, good looking but ignorant sales persons who are far from being nice instead making you feel guilty that you are visiting that store; very boring collection with typical postmodernist alessi teapots or georg jensen flatware or stelton cylinda line; nothing special or new; nonsense expensive I mean 20% more then everywhere; an ugly shelving system but exclusively designed for them on the wall; some Zanotta furniture around; etc etc etc etc..........So please tell me, what is this? Art, furniture&design store? I rather go to Moma to watch those things in glass boxes, FYI
